Dr Yousef AbouHashem is a highly qualified and registered chiropractor, holding a Master's Degree in Chiropractic from Macquarie University and a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA). With his extensive educational background, including a Master's Degree in Research focused on anatomy education and 3D printing, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Science from Western Sydney University, Dr Yousef brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice.
Driven by a passion for understanding the body's holistic biomechanics and physiology, Dr Yousef is dedicated to providing individualized treatment plans that cater to each client's unique needs. His approach combines evidence-based practices with a holistic perspective. His treatment methods encompass various techniques, such as adjustments/manipulations, dry needling, general mobilisations, soft tissue work, and exercise rehabilitation.
Dr Yousef is highly skilled in effectively addressing a range of conditions, including back pain, headaches/migraines, neck pain, joint-related discomfort, and sciatica. His diverse clientele spans from office workers to manual laborers, athletes, weekend warriors, busy moms, and the elderly.
When not serving his patients, Dr Yousef also contributes to the field by working as a clinical supervisor at Murdoch University and dedicating time to training at the gym.

Macquarie Chiro is registered with the major health insurance funds and is equipped with a HICAPS utility to process your health fund claim and Medicare rebate on the spot.
**To see our Golden Bay Chiropractor using Medicare, your GP may provide you with a referral under Medicare's Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Scheme - Previously called Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) - which may entitle you up to a total of 5 subsidised visits per calendar year, where Medicare covers $58.00 of the total cost of the treatment at each visit.
